Hello there! My name is James Isaac Jones, but you can call me Isaac. I’m a photographer currently based in Paris, where I’m pursuing my Master’s of Fine Arts in Photography & Image-Making at the Paris College of Art. I’ve been photographing since 2015, focusing on artistic portraiture, working with individuals, couples, musicians, and creatives who want something a little different.
My work has been featured in publications like Vogue and The New Athenian, and I’ve collaborated with brands and artists including Bottega Vinaia, Play Like a Girl, Diplo, and Bailey Zimmerman. One of my goals is to shoot the cover of a Grammy-winning album.
But more than credits or accolades, what drives me is connection. Whether I’m working with clients in Paris or coaching photographers virtually around the world, I believe photography is at its best when it’s collaborative, intentional, and a little bit adventurous.
Safety First – Photoshoots should be fun, not stressful. If we’re shooting in new or unfamiliar locations, I always encourage bringing a friend along.
Collaborate – We’re creating together, so your ideas and input matter. Bring your vision, and let’s build something that feels true to you.
Be Comfortable – If something doesn’t feel right, whether it’s the pose, the vibe, or even the weather, let me know. The best photos happen when you feel at ease.
